Acceptable Use Policy
The principles and rules that govern safe, lawful, and trustworthy use of BharatGo.
Our Purpose
BharatGo is built for creators, businesses, and professionals to sell products and services honestly and safely. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the conduct expected when you use BharatGo. It applies to all accounts, stores, listings, files, messages, payments, integrations, and activity using the Services.
This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service. A violation may result in removal of content, payment restrictions, suspension, termination, or reporting to the appropriate authority.
1. Core Principles
- Be responsible for what you sell, publish, promote, and communicate. You are the merchant or creator of record for your offers.
- Be honest with buyers. Do not hide material conditions, use fake scarcity, make unsupported guarantees, or misrepresent your identity, products, results, or affiliations.
- Respect people and rights. Do not exploit, harass, discriminate against, threaten, or infringe the rights of others.
- Keep transactions safe. Use real information, authorised payment methods, secure accounts, and accurate records.
- Respect the platform. Do not disrupt, probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass controls or enforcement.
2. No Illegal Activity
- Do not break Indian law, the law of a buyer’s country, or another law applicable to your activity.
- Do not facilitate fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, identity theft, forgery, or financial crime.
- Do not sell or promote products or services prohibited by the Prohibited Products Policy.
- Do not use BharatGo for spam, phishing, malware, unauthorised access, credential theft, or other cyber abuse.
- Do not process or publish personal data without a lawful basis, required notice, permission, or security controls.
3. Content Standards
- Content must be accurate, lawful, relevant to the offer, and free from malware or hidden tracking that violates applicable law.
- Do not publish child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or content that facilitates abuse or trafficking.
- Do not publish threats, targeted harassment, hateful attacks, or content that encourages violence or serious harm.
- Do not use deceptive testimonials, fake reviews, copied claims, misleading pricing, or undisclosed paid endorsements.
- Do not publish content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
4. Intellectual Property
You may only sell or publish content that you created or are authorised to use and distribute. This includes text, images, video, audio, software, courses, templates, logos, trademarks, and customer data. We may remove content in response to a valid report or legal request and may restrict repeat infringers.
5. Platform Integrity
- Do not create fake accounts, manipulate reviews or metrics, inflate transactions, abuse coupons, or operate schemes designed to obtain benefits unfairly.
- Do not probe, scan, test, overload, disable, or circumvent security or technical controls.
- Do not upload harmful code or content that interferes with the Services or another user’s device or data.
- Do not collect, export, buy, sell, or use buyer data for unrelated marketing, profiling, or disclosure.
6. Payment Terms
- Use only payment methods and bank accounts that you are authorised to use.
- Do not knowingly submit false transaction details, split transactions to evade controls, or manipulate refunds or chargebacks.
- Do not use BharatGo for unlawful financial products, unlicensed investment activity, or guaranteed-return schemes.
- You must cooperate with payment, identity, fraud, dispute, and compliance reviews.
7. Enforcement
We may act on reports, automated signals, payment-network notifications, legal requests, or our own investigation. Where appropriate, we may remove content, block an order, limit features, hold or reverse funds, require additional verification, suspend an account, terminate access, or notify affected users and authorities.
We try to apply enforcement proportionately, but we may take immediate action where there is a risk of harm, fraud, legal exposure, payment loss, or platform compromise.
8. Reporting Violations
If you believe an account, listing, message, payment, or other activity violates this AUP, report it to contact@bharatgo.com. Include the relevant store, order, account, URL or content details, a description of the suspected violation, and supporting evidence. We will review reports in good faith and may keep the reporter’s identity confidential where appropriate.
